The Institute of Contemporary Art Boston is having an exhibit featuring Jerónimo López Ramírez, also known as Dr. Lakra. A renowned tattoo artist who draws over vintage printed materials and found objects rather than skin, manipulating images of pin-up girls, 1940s Mexican businessmen, luchadores, and Japanese sumo wrestlers.
His work will be on display April 14th to September 6th. After viewing the exhibit you can head over to the gift shop and pick up some Sin in Linen! The ICA Boston has our Tattoo Kitchen Towels, Placemats and Aprons (the aprons are sold out online). They also have some Flash Ivory Shower Curtains.
