Skulls and Bacon
Our new favorite blog, Skulls and Bacon! If it’s got skulls or bacon, you’ll read about it here. They’ve even posted an insightful write-up on all the hoopla around swine flu.
Run by metalchick666 who has this to say about herself. “I like skulls and bacon. And muppets. I’m also a big fan of metal and stoner rock so you may find random music posts every now and then.”

Seattle Erotic Arts Festival

May 1st-3rd Seattle hosts the Seattle Erotic Arts Festival.
This event includes a great selection of artists including some of our favorites such as Krysztof Nemeth of Charm School who draws the most amazing saucy pinups, Jessica McCourt, Erin Frost and Michael Manning.
The performers this year offered a lovely revolving stage of eye candy and ingenuity of motion arts. MC’s for the weekend were Dan Savage, Paula the Swedish Housewife and Midori introducing stellar performances by the Aerialista’s Poppy Daze, an amazing pole dance by Pantera, The Fuschia Foxxx and Waxie Moon. For more highlights and to see the festivals full roster, visit their website.

Viva Las Vegas!

Celebrating another anniversary this last weekend is Viva Las Vegas, the premiere Rockabilly Weekender in it’s 11th year! Each April this event brings out the finest Rockabilly performers and fans. On Friday night, the following act caught my eye on the music stage. They called themselves Rockinroll Stars and the line-up was Charlie Grace, Dale Hawkins who wrote Suzie Q and heavily influenced Credence Clearwater Revival, Otis Williams from the Temptations, and Harvey Fuqua of the Moonglows and a key figure in the development of the Motown Label. Last year even saw Sin in Linen’s own web designer Stacie Herndon-Kimrey DJ’ing as Heelgrinder. Shown here with Sin in Linen founder Sandy Glaze.

Highlights of Viva Las Vegas are checking out the cool cats at the Car Show and the kittens on the Burlesque stage. Car clubs from mostly California come out in fine form and ladies come from all over the world to compete at the Viva Las Vegas Burlesque Contest. Congratulations to winners Carolina Moon, Dia Blow, Orchid Mei and Tara Mi Sioux!
