What do you do for a living?
I’m a full-time student studying interior design and have worked for an interior designer for 3 years as a design assistant.

If you had a super power what would it be?
Like mostly everyone I would love to fly but super strength could come in handy.

Favorite Book?
The Hot Zone has always been a favorite. Terrifyingly addicting to read!

Food you couldn’t live without?
That’s a tough one – probably cheese.

10 things you cant live without?
Motorcycles, vintage clothes, bacon, rhinestones, cake, lipstick, sun, bourbon, puppies and music.

What do you do for fun?
Attend burlesque shows, play frisbee, ride motorcycles, swim, craft, dress up, eat, karaoke, pop some tags.

What is your favorite Sin in Linen print?
Geisha Garden Tattoo is so pretty and invigorating!

If you could meet anyone who would it be?
Ray and Charles Eames I think would be a hoot to meet. I love how they demonstrated on how good design can improve the quality of life.

Tell us a little about yourself:
I’m pretty easy going but also have a busy schedule. School takes a lot of focus and time but I definitely try to keep a balance with enjoying other activities such as the ones listed under the “what do you do for fun” question.

Miss May – Sheeza Brickhouse

What do you do for a living?
Stay at home Mom and Baby. I also work part time at Fast Girl Skates, a derby shop in Wallingford.

If you had a super power what would it be?
To freeze time or multiply myself. There are so many moments I would love to stop in time for a just a little while longer. And I would love to multiply myself so I could get more done!

Favorite Book?
Geek Love

Food you couldn’t live without?
All of it? But seriously, is fruit an acceptable answer?

10 things you cant live without?
My husband, our child, roller skates, Instagram, Fro-yo, sunscreen, family, Grave Danger, Funk music, and my sense of smell.

What do you do for fun?
Play derby, play outside, watch movies, and watch Jack wave and smile at every single person we walk past. Being a newer parent, I’d put “sleep” in this category as well.

What is your favorite Sin in Linen print?  
Midnight Tiki is a favorite in our bedroom.  For Jacks room he tends to like Big Top Stripe, Zebra, and Pirate Baby Bedding.

If you could meet anyone who would it be?
Dead? Elvis. Alive? Grandmaster Flash

Tell us a little about yourself:
I’m a stay at home mom with Jack, our 14 month old son. I skate with the Rat City Rollergirls on Grave Danger (Sandy Glaze, Sin in Linen’s Founder, is an Alumni!). A former teammate of ours, Killer Bee-otch is getting ready to release her 3rd run of her Sheeza Brickhouse Derby Wife wine. I’ve been honored to be a part of her releases for 3 years now, as she pays homage to several current and former Rollergirls with her wines. My husband, Evan, and I just completed our first 5k in April and now are training for a triathlon. I love hip hop music along with funk, mainly because I love to shake it. I am a sugar addict.

I work at the University of Washington as a Project and New Media Manager to support my roller derby habit.

If you had a super power what would it be?

Favorite Book?
Mind Gym: An Athletes Guide to Inner Excellence by Gary Mac. A must read for all athletes.

Food you couldn’t live without?
Oh-toro – it’s the fattiest cut of tuna. It’s so silky – it melts in your mouth.

10 things you can’t live without?
My family and friends, roller derby, my custom-made black, silver and grey Antik skates, Mr. Sirius, optimism, MAC RED lipstick, Chie Mihara shoes, Solstice Café, vintage fashion and a sense of humor.

What do you do for fun?
I love to thrift shop (I wear your grandma’s clothes), camp, travel, consume copious amounts of sushi, tackle house remodeling projects that have an instant impact, prank people and play Settlers of Catan (nerd alert!).

What is your favorite Sin in Linen print?
I adore the Geisha Garden print. It’s so dreamy.

If you could meet anyone who would it be?
RuPaul – he’s my spirit animal.

Tell us a little about yourself
I grew up on a small island in the Puget Sound with artist parents. I studied theatre at the UW and spent the majority of my free time acting until I discovered my true passion – roller derby in 2006. Through 5 years of skating I’ve built an impressive collection of photos for my “Wall of Pain”, but I’ve never looked back.
